SUPRO launches the Grassroots Stash Fund, £100,000 of stash support for UK clubs

Grassroots clubs are the heart of sport. They are run by volunteers, powered by community, and held together by people who give their time because the badge matters.

Kit is an essential part of any club but can be a major headache, and when budgets are tight it is hard to keep every squad looking consistent, especially when you are supporting minis, juniors, seniors, coaches and supporters all at once.

That is why we have launched the SUPRO Grassroots Stash Fund, a £100,000 total fund of gifted kit, teamwear and equipment support for grassroots clubs across the UK.

This is not cash and it is not a one size fits all initiative. It is a practical support package designed to help clubs upgrade their stash, build a stronger identity, and launch a better way to run their merchandise opportunities.

What selected clubs could receive

Each selected club will receive an agreed package that may include:

• Match kit, training wear and leisurewear

• Club stash items for coaches, staff and volunteers

• Fanwear and accessories

• Equipment support where appropriate

SUPRO will also provide a SUPRO-powered official online store, with operational support including fulfilment and customer service, plus launch support to help you get momentum quickly.

Who can apply

The Fund is open to eligible grassroots clubs and community sports organisations based in the UK. The person applying must have authority to apply on behalf of the club and, if selected, have the relevant persons approve the partnership agreement.

How selection works

Awards are made at SUPRO’s discretion. When reviewing applications, we may consider factors such as:

• Club size and number of teams/players

• Engagement and community impact

• Ability to support a store launch

• Previous spend and/or projected Year 1 store turnover

The Fund is capped at £100,000 retail value in total across all awards. Individual awards will vary based on the information provided and our assessment.

Club partnership

Acceptance of an award is conditional on the club entering into a three-year partnership with SUPRO, where SUPRO becomes the club’s Official Kit, Teamwear and Merchandise Partner and operates the club’s official online store.

Applications must be submitted via the official SUPRO application route by 30 April 2026.
